🎯 Job Summary:
The Software Tester will be responsible for evaluating software quality through manual and automated testing. The role involves creating detailed test plans, executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and ensuring that software applications meet the specified requirements and deliver a seamless user experience.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Analyze software requirements and design comprehensive test cases and plans.
Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
Detect, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts.
Review and analyze system specifications for quality assurance.
Ensure that software adheres to established quality standards and industry best practices.
Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
🎯 Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for writing test scripts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
🎯 Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Software Tester (CSTE).
Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
