Qualitest looking for experienced Senior Quality Engineers (QE) to support a significant QE transformation initiative. This hybrid position in Madison, WI, requires a mix of functional QA expertise and the ability to explore automation using tools like Selenium and Java.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Essential insurance domain experience
- Proficiency in collaborating with globally distributed teams
- Strong functional QA background, familiarity with JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO)
- 5–7 years of relevant QA/QE experience
🌟Nice to Have:
- Automation proficiency with Selenium + Java
- Willingness to upskill or obtain certification in automation
- Exposure to QE transformation projects
🛠Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Create and execute functional test cases based on requirements, designs, and user stories
- Collaborate with the team in developing and reviewing automation test scripts
- Execute smoke, sanity, regression, and functional testing
- Run automation scripts and diligently log defects
- Contribute to automation best practices and continuous improvement
- Regularly share status reports with the team
