🧩 Role Overview – Manual QA Engineer
XChangeSoft is hiring an experienced Manual QA Engineer to strengthen its Software Quality Assurance team.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, SQL validation, and end-to-end software quality processes. You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure every release meets the highest quality standards.
In this role, you will:
• Design comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate application quality across multiple business scenarios
You will play a key role in improving software reliability, reducing production defects, and ensuring an exceptional user experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing
• Execute White Box and Grey Box Testing where applicable
• Validate business requirements and application functionality
• Perform SQL queries for backend data validation
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the SDLC
• Participate in requirement reviews and release validation
• Prepare QA documentation, reports, and test evidence
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Manual QA
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Experience designing Test Cases and Test Plans
• Strong SQL and database validation skills
• Expertise in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing
• Knowledge of White Box and Grey Box Testing concepts
• Good understanding of SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment

• Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
• Agile/Scrum methodology
• API Testing knowledge
• Test documentation and reporting
• Cross-browser and cross-platform testing
