🧩 Role Overview – Business Systems QA Engineer (Remote Canada)
Addepar is hiring an experienced Business Systems Quality Assurance Engineer to support enterprise software quality initiatives across internal business platforms.
This role is ideal for QA professionals passionate about delivering high-quality enterprise applications, improving user experience, and ensuring reliable deployment across business-critical systems.
You will collaborate with developers, technical leads, business SMEs, and product managers to design and execute structured testing strategies across all SDLC phases.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, create, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
• Execute test cases and analyze results for business systems
• Identify, report, and track defects using Jira or bug-tracking systems
• Collaborate with developers, SMEs, and technical teams to validate requirements
• Participate in all SDLC phases, from discovery to deployment
• Ensure business workflows and requirements are fully validated before release
• Support one-time initiatives and standard software release cycles
• Stay current with evolving QA methodologies and industry best practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience as a Software QA Tester / QA Analyst / QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC
• Hands-on experience with software testing tools and QA frameworks
• Strong knowledge of black-box and white-box testing methodologies
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• High attention to detail with strong quality-first mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
