🧩 Role Overview – Software Tester (QA)
Ethics Infotech is hiring a skilled Software Tester with expertise in manual and automation testing.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy identifying defects, validating software quality, and ensuring smooth product releases.
In this role, you will:
• Perform manual and automation testing across applications
• Validate APIs, databases, and core functionalities
• Ensure bug-free software delivery with strong QA practices
You will play a key role in maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Manual, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
• Execute Automation Testing using Playwright or similar tools
• Perform API Testing and backend validation
• Conduct Black Box and Database Testing
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, TFS
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams
• Validate software releases and ensure production readiness
• Maintain test reports, quality metrics, and documentation
• Improve QA processes and automation coverage
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Exposure to Automation Testing tools
• Hands-on experience in API Testing
• Knowledge of SQL Server / Database Testing
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with Playwright preferred
• Good understanding of QA methodologies and STLC / SDLC
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• CI/CD pipeline exposure
• Performance Testing basics
• Agile/Scrum environment experience
• Cross-browser testing experience
• Enterprise product testing background
