🧩 Role Overview – QA Automation Lead (Enterprise QA | Architecture & Team Leadership)
Martinette Technologies is hiring an experienced QA Automation Lead for a contract role across multiple locations.
This is a high-value leadership opportunity for professionals who can define automation strategy, lead QA teams, and build robust test engineering solutions across enterprise systems—high-demand skills in the global QA market.
In this role, you will:
• Lead automation requirement gathering and QA strategy
• Architect scalable automation solutions for enterprise platforms
• Drive quality across Web, SOA, ETL, and Backend layers
You will play a key role in improving automation maturity, release confidence, and delivery efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Gather automation requirements and lead QA teams across projects
• Design and define automation architecture for enterprise applications
• Build and maintain automation coverage for Web, SOA, ETL, and Backend systems
• Develop and execute automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, REST/SOAP
• Write and maintain Java-based automation scripts
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Collaborate with development, QA, product, and release teams
• Lead sprint-based testing cycles and Agile QA practices
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and release quality
• Support defect triaging, reporting, and production readiness
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation / QA Leadership
• Strong experience in gathering automation requirements and leading QA teams
• Full-stack QA and test engineering experience is mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, REST/SOAP
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Maven, and Gradle
• Exposure to Cloud & DevOps ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies
• Experience with tools like TestNG, REST Assured, Postman, Jira, HP ALM, Appium
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• BDD / TDD / Data-Driven / Hybrid / Keyword-Driven frameworks
• Experience in ETL and backend automation testing
• Exposure to enterprise test architecture and strategy
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership presence
