🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation | Cypress | Hybrid)
STREETMARK Info Solutions is hiring an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end quality assurance across web applications and API workflows.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong manual testing expertise and hands-on automation experience in Cypress, TypeScript/JavaScript, and CI/CD integration—high-demand skills in today’s QA market.
In this role, you will:
• Own the full QA lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Design, automate, and execute test scenarios across UI and API layers
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure release quality
You will play a key role in improving product reliability, automation coverage, and delivery efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end QA lifecycle across projects
• Perform manual testing and design effective test cases
• Develop and maintain automation suites using Cypress
• Write automation scripts in TypeScript / JavaScript
• Perform UI testing and API testing, with Karate framework exposure as a plus
• Design and implement automation frameworks for scalable QA coverage
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Manage test execution and defect tracking in Azure DevOps / Jira
• Collaborate with development, product, and release teams
• Ensure timely, high-quality releases in an Agile/Scrum environment
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Case Design
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Automation Testing experience using Cypress
• Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript
• Experience in UI & API Testing
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps / Jira
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Karate framework experience
• Automation framework design and implementation
• Exposure to enterprise-grade applications
• Knowledge of defect triaging and release quality metrics
