🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer II (Remote Canada)
Avetta is hiring a QA Engineer II to support quality assurance activities across its modern SaaS ecosystem. This is a high-impact QA role where you will:
• Test enterprise SaaS applications
• Validate APIs and integrations
• Perform regression and functional testing
• Work in Agile product teams
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure all features meet quality standards before production release.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute manual test cases for SaaS applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing
• Validate web application workflows and user experiences
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps
• Re-test fixes and validate issue resolution
• Execute regression testing during releases and deployments
• Validate APIs, external integrations, and system data flows
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Contribute to maintaining QA documentation and test repositories
• Support release readiness and UAT activities
• Use AI-assisted QA tools for optimized test coverage and automation support
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of QA experience in SaaS or web-based environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing workflows and QA tools
• Ability to create structured test cases and defect reports
• Basic SQL and data validation knowledge
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
