🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Engineer (Automation | Performance | Airline Domain)
Coforge is hiring highly skilled Senior QA Engineers with strong expertise in automation testing, performance testing, and deep airline domain knowledge.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to work on mission-critical airline applications such as reservation systems, PSS, DCS, and related travel technology platforms—high-demand areas in enterprise QA.
In this role, you will:
• Design and execute robust test strategies for airline applications
• Validate reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems
• Ensure technology solutions align with architectural and business standards
You will play a key role in improving application quality, system stability, and release confidence.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute automation and performance test strategies for airline applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Conduct API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
• Work with MySQL for schema design, query writing, and data validation
• Analyze performance results and identify bottlenecks
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and business teams
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture and business standards
• Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Support defect tracking, triage, and release readiness
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 6–14 years of experience in QA / Automation / Performance Testing
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA Automation and Performance Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Good experience with MySQL, including schema design and query writing
• Deep understanding of airline reservation systems, PSS, DCS, or related airline technologies
• Strong experience in performance testing and analysis
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
