🔍 Role Overview – Senior Java Automation Tester
LTIMindtree is expanding its Quality Engineering practice and is hiring experienced Senior Java Automation Testers for its Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) projects in Pune and Hyderabad.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Java Automation Testing, Selenium WebDriver, REST API Automation, BDD Frameworks, and enterprise banking applications. 🧭 Key Responsibilities & Leadership Scope
🧩 QA Strategy, Governance & Delivery Excellence
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium
Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure high software quality
Define automation strategies that improve release quality and reduce production defects
Support continuous testing across Agile and DevOps environments
Drive quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle
🧪 Testing Ownership & Process Excellence
Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured
Automate API validation and backend service testing
Build and maintain BDD automation scenarios using Cucumber
Perform regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing
Validate banking workflows, business rules, and financial transactions
🔧 Tools, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Enhance automation framework stability and execution performance
Analyze defects and collaborate with developers for faster resolution
Support CI/CD automation execution and quality reporting
Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
🤝 Cross-Functional & Agile Collaboration
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps Engineers
Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Support enterprise banking application releases across multiple environments
Mentor junior automation engineers and promote QA best practices
