🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Automation Engineer (Automation | API | CI/CD Testing)
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure software quality and application reliability. The role requires hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks, programming or scripting languages, API testing, and RESTful services.
The ideal candidate should also have knowledge of manual testing methodologies, SQL and database validation, test management tools, and CI/CD pipeline integration to support efficient software delivery and continuous testing.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
Work with automation testing frameworks and tools to improve test coverage.
Perform API testing and validate RESTful services.
Apply manual and automated testing methodologies across software applications.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using relevant programming or scripting languages.
Perform SQL queries and database testing to validate data accuracy and integrity.
Use test management and defect-tracking tools to manage testing activities.
Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
Identify, troubleshoot, document, and track software defects.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing processes and software quality.
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools.
