🎯 Responsibilities
As a QA Engineer with 10+ years of experience, you will be responsible for validating and verifying software applications, ensuring that they function correctly and meet customer requirements. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough manual testing of software applications across various platforms.
Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on product requirements.
Conduct API testing using Postman to ensure backend services function as expected.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a bug tracking system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product functionality and user requirements.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases and test results.
Support the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in automation testing and manual testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in API testing tools both Manual and Automation
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in automation testing (optional).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
