🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester (API & Database Testing)
Brace Infotech is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in API testing and database validation.
This role is ideal for QA professionals who are passionate about ensuring high-quality software delivery, working on web and API-based applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing of web and API-based applications
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Validate backend data using database queries and data validation techniques
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Experience: 2–4 years in Manual Testing / QA Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in API Testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Experience in database validation and SQL queries
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
