🧩 Role Overview – QA Automation Engineer (Selenium | API | WebdriverIO)
Ethics Infotech is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to work on advanced automation testing frameworks and ensure product quality across applications.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to grow in automation testing, scripting, and modern QA tools—high CPC and high-demand skills in today’s tech market.
In this role, you will:
• Design and execute automation test scripts
• Work on API, database, and UI testing
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
You will play a key role in ensuring bug-free, high-performance applications through robust testing strategies.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
• Perform UI, API, and database testing
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium/WebdriverIO
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing
• Identify, log, and track defects with detailed analysis
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently
• Validate data integrity through database testing
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
• Ensure quality across releases and deployments
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium automation
• Experience in API Testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Knowledge of Database Testing (SQL)
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (TypeScript preferred)
• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with Playwright automation
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
