🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Engineer (AI-First QA | Remote)
HiringEye is hiring an experienced Senior QA Engineer to work in an AI-first product environment focused on modern web applications and intelligent automation.
This role is ideal for professionals who combine strong automation expertise with practical use of AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and advanced testing platforms.
In this role, you will:
• Build and scale automation frameworks for web products
• Use AI tools to optimize testing efficiency and coverage
• Drive quality engineering in fast-moving product teams
You will play a key role in shaping next-generation QA processes powered by AI.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Define and execute test strategies for modern rich web applications
• Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to generate and optimize test cases
• Integrate AI-powered testing, static analysis, and anomaly detection into CI/CD pipelines
• Simulate real-world user behavior using LLMs and intelligent agents
• Continuously improve regression, smoke, and exploratory testing using AI platforms
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement shift-left testing practices
• Help define and scale AI-first QA best practices across the organization
• Track defects, improve quality metrics, and ensure release readiness
• Support rapid product iterations with reliable quality gates
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4–7 years of experience in QA Engineering / Test Automation
• Strong expertise in Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, CodiumAI, etc.)
• Experience testing modern web applications (React / Next.js preferred)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC
• Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Experience in Agile/Scrum product environments preferred
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with API automation testing
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Familiarity with performance testing tools
• Experience with visual testing or self-healing automation frameworks
• Exposure to prompt engineering for QA workflows
