🧩 Role Overview – Automation Test Engineer (Web & Mobile | Sydney)
Nityo is hiring an experienced Automation Test Engineer to work on web and mobile testing initiatives for enterprise-level applications.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Appium, JavaScript, and modern automation frameworks—high-demand skills in the global QA market.
In this role, you will:
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile apps
• Execute end-to-end test automation across critical business workflows
• Work in a collaborative, quality-driven environment
You will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, scalability, and release readiness.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright and Appium
• Perform web and mobile automation testing across multiple platforms
• Build automation coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams
• Execute tests in BrowserStack and other real-device/cloud environments
• Manage defect reporting and tracking using Jira/Xray
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Write and maintain reusable test components and frameworks
• Validate APIs using Rest Assured
• Ensure test stability, maintainability, and high-quality releases
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4–7 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Appium
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with Cucumber and BDD frameworks
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using BrowserStack for cross-platform testing
• Strong experience with Jira/Xray for test management
• API testing experience using Rest Assured
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Must have full working rights in Australia

• Exposure to cloud-based test execution environments
• Experience in enterprise application testing
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with mobile device testing strategies
