🧩 Role Overview – Senior Java SRE Engineer
Impetus Technologies is urgently hiring Senior Java SRE Engineers who can take ownership of high-availability systems, cloud infrastructure, and reliability engineering practices.
This role is ideal for professionals experienced in Java-based microservices, cloud platforms, and production system reliability, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and uptime.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable Java-based microservices architectures
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure system uptime and reliability
• Work on cloud-native deployments using Docker & Kubernetes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems using advanced monitoring tools
• Handle real-time data streaming systems using Kafka
• Identify performance bottlenecks and improve system efficiency
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams for seamless releases
• Ensure system observability, logging, alerting, and incident management
• Automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines for faster delivery
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Experience: 10–15 years in Java / SRE / Backend Engineering roles
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and real-time event-driven systems
• Deep knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Expertise in Monitoring, Logging, and Observability tools
• Good understanding of SQL and database performance optimization
• Proven experience managing high-scale distributed systems in production
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and incident management skills
