🧩 Role Overview – Playwright Automation Test Lead
Moolya is hiring a seasoned Playwright Automation Test Lead who can drive automation efforts end to end, build scalable frameworks, and define quality standards for the team.
This role is suited for professionals who have already led automation initiatives, understand how to build stable and scalable Playwright frameworks, and can guide teams toward high-quality, faster releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end automation strategy for product quality and regression coverage
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks
• Define and enforce quality standards, automation best practices, and test governance
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to improve release quality
• Review automation code, identify improvements, and ensure framework reliability
• Drive test coverage, execution efficiency, and continuous quality improvement
• Contribute to team mentoring, planning, and technical decision-making
• Support quality readiness for releases through robust automation and reporting
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 8–10 years of experience in QA / Test Automation / SDET roles
• Strong hands-on experience in leading automation efforts end to end
• Proven expertise in building Playwright frameworks that scale
• Strong understanding of automation architecture, test design, and maintainability
• Experience in setting quality standards and automation practices for teams
• Good knowledge of test strategy, regression planning, and release quality assurance
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a work-from-office environment in Bangalore
