🧩 Role Overview – Software QA Engineer (Manual Testing | Remote)
SYMB Technologies is hiring a QA Manual Engineer with strong experience in manual software testing and a solid understanding of modern QA workflows.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to work on global digital products while gaining exposure to API testing, Agile delivery, CI/CD workflows, and test management tools.
You will collaborate with:
• Developers
• Product Teams
• QA and Engineering Stakeholders
This is a high-value quality assurance role where your work will directly impact product stability, release quality, and customer experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing for web and digital applications
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Validate application functionality, usability, and reliability
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with Agile teams during sprint planning, reviews, and releases
• Support regression, smoke, and functional testing cycles
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Maintain test documentation using tools like TestRail or Zephyr
• Contribute to quality improvements and release readiness
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
✅ Experience:
• 2–4 years of experience in QA / Manual Testing
• Strong exposure to software testing workflows and defect reporting
• Experience working in Agile teams
🎓 Education:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field preferred
🛠️ Technical Skills:
• Manual Testing expertise
• Basic scripting in Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
• API testing with Postman or REST Assured
• Familiarity with Selenium or Cypress is a plus
• Knowledge of Git version control
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
