🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer
Tech Outs is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in manual testing, automation, API validation, and performance testing.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across e-commerce and hospitality domains, with the ability to analyze requirements deeply, uncover risks early, and ensure robust quality across the SDLC.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end manual testing for web and mobile applications
• Design, write, and execute granular test cases covering all layers of business logic
• Validate cart, payment, reservation, and guest management workflows across e-commerce and hospitality systems
• Conduct API testing for REST, SOAP, and microservices using tools like Postman and SOAP UI
• Automate web and mobile applications using Selenium, Appium, or Playwright
• Track defects and manage test cycles using Jira / Azure DevOps / Test Plans
• Identify risks, edge cases, and dependencies early in the SDLC
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality releases
• Support performance testing using tools like JMeter or K6
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong domain exposure in E-commerce and Hospitality
• Proven expertise in manual testing and STLC
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify edge cases and business risks early
• Hands-on experience in automation testing for web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in REST / SOAP API testing and microservices validation
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Test Plans
• Good understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
