🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer (Healthcare Software)
Thinkitive Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile healthcare applications.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to build expertise in healthcare domain testing, API validation, compliance testing, and Agile QA processes.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end testing of healthcare web and mobile applications
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA / Qase.io
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Support daily regression cycles and release validation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA / PHI standards and data security
• Improve QA processes, documentation, and test coverage
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in Manual Testing with basic Automation exposure
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Qase.io, Postman (API Testing)
• Exposure to Healthcare / Clinical Software (EHR/EMR) is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
• Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques
• Experience with Selenium or Cypress automation tools
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Interest in using AI-powered QA tools (Claude AI, Cursor)
