🧩 Role Overview – Manual QA Tester
EBSS is hiring an experienced Manual QA Tester with 4+ years of hands-on software testing experience for a fully remote opportunity.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with strong expertise in manual testing across ERP, web, and mobile applications, along with experience in API testing, SQL, database validation, and defect management.
You will work closely with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to identify defects, validate application functionality, and ensure reliable software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements and define appropriate testing scenarios
• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Test ERP, web, and mobile applications across different business workflows
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Prepare clear and detailed bug reports with supporting information
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
• Execute SQL queries for database testing and data validation
• Participate in requirement analysis and defect triage discussions
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects
• Support release validation and production readiness testing
• Maintain QA documentation, test execution reports, and testing evidence
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous QA improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Manual Testing
• Experience testing ERP applications
• Experience with Web and Mobile Application Testing
• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing
• Hands-on experience with Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Experience in Test Case Design and Execution
• Strong Bug Reporting and Defect Management skills
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman / Swagger
• Good understanding of SQL and Database Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
