🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester
EBSS is hiring an experienced Manual Tester with 4–6 years of experience for a remote opportunity.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with strong hands-on experience in manual testing, functional validation, regression testing, API testing, SQL, and database testing across ERP, web, and mobile applications.
The selected candidate will contribute throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle, ensuring application functionality, data accuracy, defect resolution, and release quality.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and define appropriate test scenarios
• Design, review, and execute detailed test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Test ERP, web, and mobile applications across different workflows
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Prepare clear and detailed bug reports with reproduction steps
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
• Execute SQL queries for database testing and data validation
• Perform data verification across application workflows
• Participate in defect triage and resolution discussions
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Support release validation and production readiness testing
• Maintain QA documentation and test execution reports
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to QA process improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Experience with ERP applications
• Experience testing Web and Mobile Applications
• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing
• Hands-on experience with Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Experience in Test Case Creation and Execution
• Strong Bug Reporting and Defect Tracking skills
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman / Swagger
• Good understanding of SQL and Database Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
