🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester / QA Engineer
FutureTech Factory One is hiring a Manual Tester / QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience for a remote opportunity.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with hands-on expertise in manual and functional testing, test case creation, database validation, and web application testing.
You will work closely with development and project teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to identify defects, validate business requirements, and ensure reliable software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify appropriate testing scenarios
• Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Manual and Functional Testing of web applications
• Execute Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke Testing
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using JIRA
• Perform Database Testing and validate application data using SQL
• Execute Data Migration Testing and verify data integrity
• Participate in requirement analysis and defect discussions
• Collaborate with developers and project teams to resolve defects
• Maintain testing documentation, execution reports, and defect records
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes and test coverage
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual and Functional Testing
• Experience with Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke Testing
• Strong knowledge of Test Case and Test Scenario creation
• Hands-on experience with JIRA
• Good SQL knowledge for database validation
• Experience in Database Testing
• Experience with Data Migration Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience testing Web Applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
