🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer | Junior Level
Wareef United is hiring a Junior QA Engineer with 0–3 years of experience for an onsite position in Riyadh.
Fresh graduates with strong software testing fundamentals are welcome to apply.
The selected candidate will support the QA lifecycle by designing and executing functional and regression test cases, validating APIs and databases, reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure reliable software releases.
This role provides an opportunity to develop practical experience with industry-standard QA tools and methodologies.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design and execute manual functional and regression test cases
• Analyze requirements and identify appropriate test scenarios
• Execute assigned test cases and maintain accurate execution status
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Prepare clear and detailed bug reports
• Apply SDLC and STLC concepts throughout different testing phases
• Perform API testing using Postman and SoapUI
• Validate REST and SOAP APIs using JSON and XML formats
• Execute SQL queries for basic database validation
• Collaborate with developers and project stakeholders to resolve defects
• Maintain testing documentation and execution reports
• Contribute to improving QA processes and overall application quality
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 0–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Fresh graduates with strong QA fundamentals are welcome
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of Manual and Functional Testing
• Knowledge of Regression Testing and Test Case Execution
• Hands-on experience with Postman / SoapUI
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience or familiarity with Jira
• Ability to read and understand REST/SOAP APIs
• Understanding of JSON and XML data formats
• Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC concepts
• Understanding of ISTQB terminology and testing fundamentals
• Knowledge of defect reporting and defect lifecycle management
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Saudi Nationality is mandatory
