🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer – Manual Testing, you will be responsible for validating application functionality, preparing test scenarios, executing different types of software testing, and identifying defects before release.
You will work closely with development and project teams to maintain test coverage, investigate issues, and contribute to consistent software quality and release readiness.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Perform Manual and Functional Testing across application workflows.
Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Conduct Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
Use JIRA and Azure DevOps for defect reporting, tracking, and QA collaboration.
Analyze test results and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders.
Perform retesting and regression testing after defect fixes.
Participate in SDLC and STLC activities.
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve software issues.
Maintain testing documentation and contribute to improving QA processes.
Support API and database validation when required.
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing / Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
Strong hands-on experience in Manual and Functional Testing.
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
Good knowledge of Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
Strong defect identification, documentation, and tracking skills.
Hands-on experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Immediate to 15 days notice period preferred.
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
Exposure to automation testing concepts and frameworks.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
Familiarity with test management and QA documentation tools.
