🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing software testing activities, identifying defects, and helping ensure that applications meet expected quality standards. The role requires a solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, practical experience with testing methodologies, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
You may work across manual and/or automation testing activities depending on project requirements, collaborating with development and other technical teams to identify and resolve software quality issues.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute software testing activities based on project requirements.
Develop and maintain effective testing approaches and test scenarios.
Perform manual and/or automation testing as required.
Identify, document, and track software defects through the complete defect lifecycle.
Execute test cases and analyze results to identify functional and quality issues.
Contribute to test planning and overall QA processes.
Work closely with development teams to communicate defects and support issue resolution.
Apply appropriate software testing methodologies throughout the QA process.
Ensure testing activities align with SDLC and STLC processes.
Use analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate application issues.
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
4+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
Experience in test planning and test execution.
Hands-on understanding of defect management.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
Experience working with modern QA and test management tools.
Exposure to automation frameworks and testing tools.
Strong understanding of software quality processes.
Experience working in Agile or similar development environments.
