🧩 Role Overview – Quality Analyst (Manual Testing)
As a Quality Analyst**, you will be responsible for validating software functionality, creating and executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet expected quality standards. The role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) , along with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
The position also involves direct client communication, analytical problem-solving, and collaboration with development and project teams throughout the testing process.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Create, review, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.
* Perform Functional, Regression, and UAT testing.
* Understand product requirements and identify potential functional issues.
* Follow the complete STLC and contribute throughout the software development process.
* Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects through the complete bug lifecycle.
* Prepare clear and detailed bug reports with relevant evidence and reproduction steps.
* Work closely with developers, business teams, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
* Use tools such as Jira, TestRail, Redmine, or similar defect/test management platforms.
* Maintain test-related information using Excel and Google Sheets.
* Perform basic database validation as required during testing.
* Communicate directly with clients regarding requirements, defects, and testing-related updates.
* Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify software quality issues.
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
*1–2 years of professional experience in Manual Testing / Quality Assurance.
* Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
* Hands-on experience in test case creation and execution.
* Experience with Functional, Regression, and UAT testing.
* Understanding of the defect lifecycle and bug reporting process.
* Experience working in Agile projects**.
* Hands-on knowledge of Jira, TestRail, Redmine, or similar tools.
* Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
* Basic knowledge of databases.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior direct client communication experience is required.
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
* Knowledge of API Testing and Web Services Testing.
* Exposure to Automation Testing.
* Familiarity with **Playwright.
* Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
* Understanding of automated testing workflows and modern QA practices.
