🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities:
💫 Enterprise-Scale Cloud Infrastructure Design & AWS Architecture
The Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for enterprise banking platforms. This includes building end-to-end environments using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform. The role demands deep understanding of cloud-native design patterns, resiliency strategies, cost optimization, and compliance-driven infrastructure for regulated financial systems.
💫 Infrastructure Setup for EDT (Enterprise Digital Transformation)
The engineer will be responsible for complete infrastructure setup and lifecycle management for Enterprise Digital Transformation initiatives. This includes provisioning compute, networking, storage, database, and data services while ensuring alignment with security, governance, and operational standards. Ownership extends from initial architecture design to ongoing enhancements and continuous optimization.
💫 Containerization & Kubernetes (EKS) Expertise
A major responsibility includes deploying, managing, and scaling containerized workloads using Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). The engineer will work extensively with Kubernetes clusters, container registries (ECR), deployment strategies, autoscaling, service discovery, and cluster security. Experience handling production-grade Kubernetes environments in banking or enterprise ecosystems is highly valuable.
💫 AWS Core Services & Networking Implementation
The role requires strong hands-on experience provisioning and managing AWS services such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, NACLs, security groups, and bastion hosts. The engineer must ensure secure network segmentation, controlled access, and optimized routing for mission-critical banking workloads while adhering to strict compliance and security policies.
💫 Data & Database Infrastructure Management
The engineer will work with AWS data services such as Aurora (for relational database workloads), AWS Athena, and AWS Glue for analytics and data processing requirements. Responsibilities include supporting data pipelines, optimizing data access patterns, and ensuring high availability and reliability of backend data systems used by banking applications.
💫 CI/CD Pipelines, Automation & Deployment Enablement
A key focus of the role is building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support automated deployments, infrastructure updates, and application releases. The engineer will collaborate closely with application teams to enable seamless delivery pipelines, enforce DevOps best practices, and minimize deployment risks through automation and validation frameworks.
💫 Infrastructure Ownership, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
The Senior DevOps Engineer will have complete ownership of the EDT infrastructure stack, including implementation, enhancement, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, improving reliability, and proactively enhancing infrastructure efficiency to support evolving business needs.
💫 Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
The role involves close collaboration with application development teams, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders. The engineer will ensure that infrastructure solutions align with application requirements, regulatory constraints, and long-term business objectives, while also providing technical guidance and recommendations.
🔍 Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
💫 Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Terraform-based infrastructure automation
💫 Strong expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native application deployment

💫 Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
