💫 Advanced Test Automation Strategy & SDET Ownership
As a Senior SDET, the candidate will be responsible for owning end-to-end quality engineering initiatives across complex enterprise systems. This includes defining automation strategies, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks, establishing best practices, and ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. The role demands strong analytical thinking, technical depth, and the ability to proactively identify quality risks early in the delivery cycle.
💫 UI Automation using Selenium, Playwright & Cypress
The engineer will design and implement robust UI automation solutions using Selenium with JavaScript, Playwright, or Cypress. Responsibilities include building scalable automation frameworks, handling dynamic elements, optimizing execution speed, and maintaining stability across multiple browsers and environments. Expertise in cross-browser testing, parallel execution, headless testing, and flaky test reduction is critical for supporting modern CI/CD pipelines.
💫 API Automation & Service-Level Validation
A key responsibility of this role is validating backend services and microservices through comprehensive API automation. The candidate will automate RESTful APIs using industry-standard tools and frameworks, validate request/response payloads, handle authentication mechanisms, and ensure data integrity across services. Strong understanding of HTTP methods, JSON schemas, status codes, and contract testing principles is expected.
💫 BDD Framework Implementation with Cucumber & Gherkin
The role involves implementing and maintaining Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks using Cucumber, Gherkin, and related tooling. The engineer will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into readable, reusable feature files that bridge technical and business expectations. Experience in maintaining clean step definitions and reusable automation components is essential.
💫 Test Framework Design using JUnit, TestNG, PyTest & Mocha
The candidate must demonstrate strong hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, or Mocha. This includes managing test execution lifecycle, grouping tests, handling assertions, reporting, and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows. The ability to customize and extend frameworks to suit project needs is a strong advantage
💫 AI-Driven Testing & Modern QA Tooling Exposure
An added advantage for this role is hands-on experience or working knowledge of AI-powered QA tools and intelligent testing platforms. This includes self-healing automation, predictive test analytics, smart test prioritization, and AI-assisted defect analysis. 💫 CI/CD Integration & DevOps Collaboration
The SDET will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments is a key requirement.
