🧩 Role Overview – Quality Assurance Testing Specialist
As a QA Testing Specialist / Test Lead, you will drive quality across complex enterprise banking systems.
You will:
Design comprehensive test strategies & plans
Lead QA discussions, standups & retrospectives
Coordinate testing across multiple streams & vendor partners
Build automation & manual testing frameworks
Ensure seamless delivery within timelines & budgets
This is a senior-level QA leadership role within a highly regulated banking environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
✅ Test Strategy & Planning
Design and develop Test Strategies, Plans & Estimations
Align test cases to business requirements & user stories
Select appropriate automation and reporting tools
✅ Automation & Framework Development
Work with Selenium, TestNG, BDD/TDD (Cucumber)
Develop manual & automated test scripts
Improve and scale automation frameworks
✅ Backend & Database Testing
Perform complex SQL & PL/SQL query validation
Data extraction, transformation & conversion testing
Cloud & Mainframe application validation
✅ Defect Management & Reporting
Write detailed defect reports
Triage & prioritize with Product Owners
Generate dashboards using Allure, Extent Reports
✅ UAT & Agile Leadership
Lead user-focused testing activities
Drive testing workshops during sprints
Collaborate across Agile & Waterfall SDLC models
🎯 Must-Have Skills
5+ years QA experience (2+ years in Test Lead capacity)
Strong SQL & PL/SQL expertise
Automation tools: Selenium, TestNG, BDD/TDD frameworks
Experience in Cloud & Mainframe applications
Agile & Waterfall SDLC exposure
Strong knowledge of JIRA & Confluence
White Box Testing principles
UAT standards expertise
Knowledge of Credit/Debit Card domain (Preferred)
