As a Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for designing automation architecture, leading QA teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery through robust automation practices.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
💫 Automation Strategy & Leadership
• Define and implement test automation strategy
• Lead and mentor QA automation teams
💫 Framework Development
• Build and maintain automation frameworks from scratch
• Work with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
💫 Automation & Technical Expertise
• Develop automation using Ruby, Java, Python
• Perform API automation (Postman, REST Assured)
💫 CI/CD & DevOps Integration
• Integrate automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)
• Ensure continuous testing in DevOps pipelines
💫 Data & Backend Testing
• Perform ETL validation and data warehouse testing
• Work with PostgreSQL & MySQL databases
💫 Platform & Infrastructure
• Work with OpenShift environments
• Support containerized deployments and testing
🔍 Required Skills & Qualifications
💫 8+ years of experience in Automation Testing
💫 2+ years of leadership or architect-level experience
💫 Strong expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
💫 Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
💫 Knowledge of API automation, ETL testing, and databases
💫 Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills
💫 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
➕ Good to Have
💫 Experience in Telecommunications domain
💫 Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
💫 Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
💫 Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
💫 Awareness of security and data privacy standards
