🧩 Role Overview – Software QA Analyst
Sonova is currently hiring a Software QA Analyst to support testing of applications that power hearing aid technology, manufacturing systems, and internal business tools.
In this role, you will help ensure that software applications used within Sonova’s technology ecosystem meet high standards of reliability, performance, and functionality.
The QA Analyst will perform various testing activities including functional testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, load testing, and performance testing. These testing processes ensure that both internal platforms and customer-facing applications operate smoothly and consistently.
A key part of the role involves identifying software defects, investigating root causes, and documenting issues within defect tracking systems. The QA professional will also validate bug fixes and confirm the resolution of issues before production releases.
This position requires strong collaboration with development teams, QA managers, and project stakeholders to maintain software quality while meeting project timelines.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform software verification activities including functional, exploratory, regression, load, and performance testing
• Identify, investigate, and document software defects within defect tracking systems
• Analyze root causes of issues and provide detailed defect reports
• Validate bug fixes and confirm that identified issues have been resolved
• Apply structured and exploratory testing techniques to ensure product quality
• Communicate testing progress, findings, and results to project stakeholders
• Support knowledge transfer and provide technical guidance to QA team members
• Collaborate with development teams and QA managers to ensure timely product delivery
• Contribute to maintaining high software quality standards across multiple applications
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience in software application testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional development teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify complex defects
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 200 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) for hybrid or remote work functionality
