🧩 Role Overview – QA Analyst
Tempo Software is seeking a skilled QA Analyst who is passionate about improving product quality and ensuring reliable software delivery.
This role involves both manual testing and automation testing, with a strong focus on identifying defects, improving testing processes, and ensuring that Tempo’s products maintain high reliability and performance standards.
The QA Analyst will work closely with developers, product managers, and engineering teams to validate new features, perform regression testing, and ensure software stability across releases.
In addition to manual testing, the role also includes designing and maintaining end-to-end automated test scripts, contributing to the development of scalable automation frameworks, and supporting continuous testing practices.
This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining structured testing methodologies with intuitive exploratory testing techniques.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive testing including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve software defects
• Execute test cases and document defects using structured QA processes
• Investigate and recreate reported defects in production environments
• Design and maintain End-to-End (E2E) automation testing scripts
• Participate in building and improving automation testing frameworks
• Contribute to improving QA methodologies, testing processes, and quality standards
• Support continuous testing practices within the development lifecycle
• Provide production support by diagnosing and analyzing reported issues
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
• Experience in web application testing
• Ability to test business logic, usability, and UI functionality
• Knowledge of HTTP concepts including GET and POST requests
• Basic understanding of web security concepts such as XSS
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts
• Experience improving or establishing testing processes
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
⚙️ Technical Skills
• Automation Tools: Cypress, Playwright, Jest, OWASP ZAP
• Programming / Scripting (Nice to have): Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Python
• Experience working with Jira development and administration
• Knowledge of Linux, MacOS, and AWS environments
• Familiarity with continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines
