🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester (Remote QA Role)
AMS is looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in software testing and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment, handling functional testing, defect tracking, and retesting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery across releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing for web and application features
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios
• Conduct functional testing and validate product behavior against requirements
• Track, manage, and retest defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth releases
• Support data validation and basic analysis across application workflows
• Prepare clear test documentation, status updates, and QA reports
• Work under tight delivery timelines while maintaining high quality standards
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Experience: 2–7 years in Software Testing / QA
• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing & SDLC
• Hands-on experience in defect creation, tracking, and retesting
• Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools preferred
• Exposure to database concepts and data visualization is a plus
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Willingness to work under tight timelines in a remote setup
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge of SQL / database validation
• Experience in remote QA delivery environments
