🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester (General Insurance | Accounting Systems)

AQM Technologies is hiring Manual Testers with domain expertise in General Insurance and Accounting systems.

This role is ideal for QA professionals with hands-on experience in financial workflows, premium calculations, and accounting validation—high-value domains with strong demand in BFSI and fintech industries.

In this role, you will:

• Test insurance and accounting-based applications

• Validate financial transactions and reporting systems

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and system reliability

You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and correctness across financial and insurance platforms.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing with strong focus on accounting and insurance modules

• Validate financial transactions such as premium calculations, commissions, invoices, and reconciliations

• Test General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and financial reporting systems

• Design and execute test cases and scenarios for insurance workflows

• Perform functional and regression testing to ensure system accuracy

• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality delivery

• Follow SDLC and STLC processes for structured testing

• Support release validation and system reliability

🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BE / BTech) or Master’s Degree

• 1–3 years of experience in Manual Testing

• Strong domain knowledge in General Insurance and Accounting

• Experience in financial systems and transaction validation

• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in testing

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Good communication and collaboration skills

⭐ Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with insurance policy lifecycle systems

• Exposure to API testing or database validation

• Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting standards

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
