🧩 Role Overview – Manual API Tester (UAT | Insurance & Integration Testing)
Mphatek is hiring a Manual API Tester with strong experience in API testing and Motor Insurance domain knowledge.
This role is ideal for QA professionals working in high-value domains like BFSI, API testing, and UAT validation—key areas with strong demand and high CPC value.
In this role, you will:
• Perform manual and API testing for business-critical applications
• Validate UAT deliverables and business workflows
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and system reliability
You will play a key role in ensuring successful product delivery aligned with business requirements.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Prepare business-critical test cases and test scenarios for manual, integration, and regression testing
• Execute test cases to validate application functionality against requirements
• Perform API testing and backend validation
• Support UAT processes and ensure business sign-offs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, BA, and development teams
• Identify, log, and track defects with proper documentation
• Provide daily status updates and follow up on defect closure
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Support production deployment and post-release validation
• Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with BRD and business needs
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E / MCA / MBA / MS or equivalent)
• 2–5 years of experience in Manual and API Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in API testing
• Domain knowledge in Motor Insurance (mandatory)
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and UAT processes
• Strong analytical and reasoning ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience in BFSI or Insurance-based applications
• Exposure to integration testing and enterprise systems
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools
