🧩 Role Overview – SDET Tester
Persistent Systems is hiring skilled SDET Testers for its Pune and Bangalore locations.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Java automation, API testing, AI-powered testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies.
In this role, you will:
• Build robust automation frameworks for enterprise applications
• Ensure product quality through scalable automated testing
• Collaborate with global engineering teams in Agile environments
You will play a key role in accelerating releases while maintaining world-class quality standards.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Build automated test suites using Java-based tools and frameworks
• Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured
• Validate end-to-end business workflows across web and backend systems
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Use AI tools to improve test productivity and coverage
• Work with cloud-based environments and test infrastructure
• Identify, track, and resolve defects efficiently
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in QA / SDET / Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Java
• Expertise in API Testing using Rest Assured
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
• Exposure to AI testing tools / GenAI productivity tools
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Selenium or Playwright experience
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Exposure to enterprise-scale applications
