🧩 Role Overview – Software Test Engineer (Manual | Functional & System Testing)
Saraca Solutions is hiring a Software Test Engineer to ensure product quality across web and enterprise applications.
This is a high-value QA role ideal for professionals looking to strengthen their expertise in manual testing, defect management, and Agile-based quality assurance processes—key skills in high CPC tech job markets.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end testing across applications
• Work closely with development and product teams
• Ensure high-quality product releases and seamless user experience
You will play a critical role in improving software reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
• Design and execute detailed test cases, scenarios, and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases
• Collaborate with developers and product teams for issue resolution
• Prepare test reports, QA metrics, and documentation
• Validate product quality, performance, and release readiness
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Contribute to QA standards and process improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Hands-on experience in manual testing techniques
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and test execution accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Basic knowledge of API Testing (Postman or similar tools)
• Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, etc.)
• Understanding of database testing (SQL)
• Experience with CI/CD environments
