🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer (Healthcare | Web, Mobile & API Testing)
Thinkitive Technologies is hiring a QA Engineer to work on healthcare software applications across web and mobile platforms.
This role is ideal for QA professionals looking to build expertise in healthcare systems, compliance testing (HIPAA/PHI), and API validation—high-value domains in the global tech ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end testing of healthcare applications
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards
• Work closely with Agile teams for high-quality releases
You will play a key role in ensuring reliability, security, and performance of critical healthcare systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile healthcare applications
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts
• Support release validation and production readiness
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and PHI data protection standards
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Validate system workflows and data accuracy
• Improve QA processes and testing efficiency
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA)
• Good understanding of web and mobile application testing
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium / Cypress)
• SQL or database testing experience
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Experience in US Healthcare domain
