🧩 Role Overview – Software Tester (Automation | Python-Based QA)
Arcot Group is hiring a Software Tester with strong expertise in Python-based automation testing across UI, API, and WebSocket layers.
This role is ideal for professionals working in high-demand QA domains like automation testing, API validation, and performance testing—key areas with strong market demand and high CPC value.
In this role, you will:
• Develop automation scripts for UI, API, and WebSocket testing
• Perform end-to-end testing across applications
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable product delivery
You will play a key role in building robust automation frameworks and improving testing efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute automation test scripts using Python and Selenium
• Perform UI automation testing using Selenium (Python)
• Implement test automation using Pytest framework
• Conduct API testing using Postman or Swagger
• Perform WebSocket testing and validation
• Execute performance testing using JMeter
• Identify, log, and track defects with detailed reporting
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams for issue resolution
• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Ensure application quality, performance, and reliability
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium (Python)
• Experience with Pytest framework
• Experience in API testing (Postman / Swagger)
• Exposure to WebSocket testing
• Experience with performance testing (JMeter)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and Git
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes
• Basic SQL knowledge (preferred)
• Experience in manual and functional testing

• Experience with advanced automation frameworks
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices
• Familiarity with scalable SaaS applications
