🧩 Role Overview – QA Automation Engineer
5Exceptions is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to strengthen its quality engineering team in Indore.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with hands-on experience in automation testing who are passionate about improving software quality, building reliable test solutions, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts
• Perform end-to-end software testing activities
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
You will play an important role in ensuring application stability, test coverage, and successful product releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing
• Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Analyze test results and provide quality insights
• Collaborate with development and product teams for defect resolution
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure proper test coverage for web applications and APIs
• Contribute to QA process improvements and automation enhancements
• Maintain testing documentation and reports
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Good understanding of Manual Testing concepts
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
• Experience in Test Case Creation and Execution
• Basic knowledge of API Testing using Postman
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Java programming knowledge
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit frameworks
• CI/CD exposure with Jenkins
