🧩 Role Overview – Automation SDET Engineer (Python Automation)
EPAM Systems is hiring experienced Automation SDET Engineers with strong expertise in Python-based automation testing.
This role is ideal for senior QA automation professionals who have hands-on experience in test framework development, API validation, cloud platforms, and AI-driven technology environments.
In this role, you will:
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Drive quality engineering practices across software products
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver reliable applications
You will play a key role in improving automation coverage, release quality, and engineering excellence.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Python
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Pytest and Selenium
• Perform API Testing and backend validation
• Develop automation solutions for complex enterprise applications
• Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Validate application data using SQL queries
• Work with Azure cloud-based environments and services
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers
• Improve test automation strategy and QA processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7–13 years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET roles
• Strong programming expertise in Python
• Hands-on experience with Pytest framework
• Strong experience with Selenium Automation
• Experience in API Testing
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Experience working with Azure cloud environments
• Exposure to AI-based applications or AI testing concepts is mandatory
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
