🧩 Role Overview – QA & Data Testing Engineer
Hexaware Technologies is hiring experienced QA professionals for Data Testing and Automation roles through a scheduled Face-to-Face drive in Chennai.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in ETL testing, automation frameworks, Python-based automation, Playwright, and cloud data validation.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and execute automation solutions for enterprise applications
• Validate data pipelines and cloud-based platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality delivery
You will contribute to improving test automation coverage, data accuracy, and software reliability.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts
• Perform ETL testing and data validation activities
• Automate testing workflows using Python-based frameworks
• Work on Playwright automation testing projects
• Validate data processing workflows across cloud platforms
• Identify, analyze, and report defects
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams
• Support functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and release activities
• Improve testing efficiency through automation practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5–9 years of experience in QA / Data Testing
• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation
• Hands-on experience in Python Automation Testing
• Experience with Playwright Automation Framework
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud-based data platforms
• Strong understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and reporting tools
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
