🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer
Codingmart is hiring a QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join its Bangalore team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, Mobile Application Testing, SQL, Java, and Selenium.
The selected candidate will work closely with development and product teams to ensure software quality, reliability, functional correctness, and release readiness across critical product workflows.
Exposure to the FinTech / Payments domain will be an added advantage.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements and identify comprehensive test scenarios
• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing
• Execute manual testing across application workflows and business requirements
• Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Validate REST APIs, responses, integrations, and backend workflows
• Perform Mobile Application Testing across relevant platforms and user journeys
• Execute SQL queries for database validation and data integrity checks
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Perform regression testing using both manual and automated test suites
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in requirement analysis and QA planning discussions
• Support release validation and production readiness activities
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and QA processes

• 2+ years of professional experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Hands-on experience with API Testing
• Experience using Postman and Rest Assured
• Good experience in Mobile Application Testing
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Database Testing
• Hands-on experience with Java and Selenium
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Test Case Creation and Execution
• Strong knowledge of Regression Testing
• Experience with Defect Tracking and Defect Lifecycle Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively with development and product teams
