🧩 Role Overview – Group Senior Manager – Quality Assurance
DP World is looking for an experienced Group Senior Manager – Quality Assurance to lead and transform quality engineering practices across technology teams in Bangalore.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a technology professional with strong experience in SDET, Software Testing, automation, and engineering excellence.
The successful candidate will help establish scalable quality engineering strategies, strengthen automation capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
• Lead enterprise-wide Quality Engineering initiatives
• Drive test automation and SDET transformation
• Establish scalable QA strategies and engineering standards
• Partner with technology and business leadership to improve software quality
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute enterprise Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering strategies
• Lead SDET and test automation transformation initiatives
• Establish automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Drive functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing strategies
• Improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and release confidence
• Build and mentor high-performing QA and SDET teams
• Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and engineering governance
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Business teams
• Drive shift-left testing and quality ownership across development teams
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and engineering productivity
• Champion continuous improvement and engineering excellence
• Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple technology teams
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong leadership experience in SDET / Software Testing
• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering
• Strong expertise in test automation and modern testing methodologies
• Experience leading large-scale QA transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
• Proven experience managing and mentoring QA / SDET teams
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive quality culture across distributed technology teams
