🧩 Role Overview – Manual QA Tester
EBSS is hiring an experienced Manual QA Tester with 4+ years of experience for a fully remote work-from-home opportunity.
This role is suitable for QA professionals with strong hands-on experience in manual testing across ERP, web, and mobile applications, along with knowledge of API testing, SQL, database validation, and defect management.
The selected candidate will work closely with development and product teams to validate application functionality, identify defects, and support high-quality software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify comprehensive testing scenarios
• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Test ERP, web, and mobile applications across different workflows
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Prepare clear and detailed bug reports
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
• Execute SQL queries for database testing and data validation
• Participate in defect triage and resolution discussions
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Support release validation and production readiness testing
• Maintain test documentation and execution reports
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and contribute to QA process improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Experience testing ERP applications
• Experience with Web and Mobile Applications
• Strong knowledge of Functional Testing
• Hands-on experience with Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Experience in Test Case Design and Execution
• Strong Bug Reporting and Defect Management skills
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman / Swagger
• Good understanding of SQL and Database Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
