🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester
SunTec India is hiring a Manual Tester with 2–5 years of experience for a fully remote opportunity.
This role is suitable for QA professionals with a strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC, hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications, and knowledge of modern defect tracking and project management tools.
The selected candidate will work closely with development and project teams to validate application functionality, identify defects, maintain testing documentation, and support reliable software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify appropriate test scenarios
• Design, review, and execute comprehensive manual test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Test web and mobile applications across different devices and workflows
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Use Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for defect management
• Perform defect retesting and regression validation
• Maintain test execution reports and QA documentation
• Participate in requirement analysis and testing discussions
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and project stakeholders
• Support API testing activities when required
• Contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes and testing coverage
• Support release validation and production readiness testing
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC life cycles
• Good hands-on experience in Web Application Testing
• Experience with Mobile Application Testing
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Knowledge of API Testing is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong technical documentation abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
