🧩 Role Overview – QA / Automation Test Engineer
Wisemonk is hiring a QA / Automation Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience for a remote opportunity in India.
This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with strong hands-on expertise in Automation Testing, combined with solid Manual and API Testing experience.
The selected candidate will work across web, mobile, and desktop applications, contributing to test automation, functional validation, API quality, regression coverage, defect management, and overall product reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Build and improve automation coverage across product workflows
• Perform Manual, Functional, Regression, Integration, and Exploratory Testing
• Test Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools
• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and regression validation
• Maintain test cases and QA documentation
• Work with test management and defect tracking platforms
• Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Investigate test failures and support root-cause analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvements in QA processes and automation frameworks
• Work independently while managing testing activities in a fast-paced environment
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Experience with one or more automation tools such as:
• Selenium
• Playwright
• Cypress
• Appium
• Similar automation frameworks
• Strong Manual Testing experience
• Hands-on API Testing experience
• Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, or equivalent API testing tools
• Experience testing Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications
• Strong understanding of Functional Testing
• Experience with Regression and Integration Testing
• Experience with Exploratory Testing
• Good knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
