🧩 Role Overview – Senior Automation Test Engineer
Terrabit Consulting is hiring a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 7+ years of experience for opportunities across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Indore, and Chennai.
This is a senior-level Quality Engineering role for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, NUnit, Page Object Model, BDD, API Testing, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
The selected professional will contribute to scalable automation frameworks, enterprise application testing, continuous integration, and modern quality engineering initiatives.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Build automated UI test suites using Playwright and TypeScript
• Apply Page Object Model (POM) and automation design best practices
• Develop and execute BDD-based automated test scenarios
• Perform API and integration testing
• Test enterprise applications including Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments
• Develop and maintain NUnit-based automated test suites
• Integrate automated tests with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage automation source code using Git/GitHub
• Analyze test failures and perform root-cause investigation
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers
• Improve automation coverage, framework stability, and testing efficiency
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions
• Explore modern AI-assisted development and testing capabilities, including GitHub Copilot and MCP
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with NUnit
• Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM)
• Experience with BDD frameworks and practices
• Hands-on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications
• Strong API Testing knowledge
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Git/GitHub experience
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
